What Do We Do?
Our work is diverse and multifaceted. From going out and working alongside communities to collaborating with organisations, what we do is forever evolving.
The majority of what we do can be considered part of three main programs: Caring With Integrity, Workshops, and Community Engagement
Caring With Integrity
Caring With Integrity was the initial idea from which Integrity Initiative developed, and is now the most well-recognised branch of our work.
Through this program, we deliver care packages to people experiencing mental health challenges, primarily those in inpatient services.
Workshops
Education beyond textbooks (which incorporates Lived Experience perspectives, cultural context and an understanding of community from within) is imperative.
On our mission to shape a more dignified, humane world, we create and deliver workshops that cater to diverse audiences, needs, learning styles and subject matter.
All of our workshops are highly customisable and take a combined approach to learning that embraces creativity beyond just art, evidence-based content, and varied perspectives from Lived Experience professionals, researchers, established experts and emerging leaders.
Community Engagement
We understand that healing and wellbeing does not take place in clinics and wards, but within community... something deeply personal and which carries different meaning for everyone (see our piece on community here).
This understanding shapes our community events (such as quiz nights, film screenings, art activities and beyond) and our community-based projects (including Unfiltered and our regional tours).
